When we came back to school, Lucy put all of the footage on her Mac account form my cameras memory stick. She is the one mainly doing the editing with the help of myself and occationally Megan and Christian. We decided to put Lucy in charge of the editing because she did graphics for her GCSE's and is more familiar our software whaich is Final Cut Pro.
To create the dark black and white, Lucy used the filters 'saturation' and levels' secttion. Lucy put the saturation on -1 so there is no colour and to brighten up the black and white effect Lucy played around with the levels. The levels of the clips are:
- Input: 50
- Input Tolerance: 100
- Gamma: 1.41
- Output: 43
- Output Tolerance: 68
Lucy added transitions to a few more of the clips so that it has that natural flow between scenes. The transition which was used was a 'cross dissolve', I believe this creates a slow peaceful atmosphere when at start when the contrasting shots are shown of Maria and the Doctor, compared to stalking, following second half of the title sequence. Transitions like dissolve and cross dissolve were used.
